This is going to be the piece I'm entering into Contest 7. It's my first contest too so please be nice. ^^;;
This took me so long to color, especially the flower tattoo on her leg. As I drew her I kind of made a backstory to go with her. Maybe I'll write it all out later when I'm not being lazy. Her name though is Umeko. Please comment! ^^
Its cute, bright, stylish, and beautiful. Great job on the tattoo too! you made it disticntive from the flower print on her dress. The fabric pattern is simplistic, cordinating, and simply lovely^^! Her hair and expression are good too^^!

This picture's great...The fine lines and soft colors make it really pretty and gives a gentle feel. What kind of pens do you use to outline your drawings? Every pen I've used had such thick lines...it kinda ruins it. T_T Anyways, keep up the great drawing

uhh, (here's me being an uber art critic) the expression on her face doesn't match the body or the outfit. It'd look better if you made her shyer looking or less outgoing, or at least changed her kimono colours to bolder and darker. You'll find the outcome more effective.
