Just an entry for a contest I decided to join up in on the forums where you have to draw a real butterfly specie's wings. That's pretty much it. So yeah to help kill my art block, I decided to make Vanitas my lab rat for this contest and draw him with a dark winged species of butterfly. I chose the Spicebush Swallowtail (Scientific name is Papilio Troilus), my fav type of butterfly. x3
I want to win BADLY which is why I worked my @$$ off on it. I must say, im rather proud. And Vanitas is looking smokin, rawr. x3

It was done in:
Hair and wings: Prang Sketching 2275 6B pencil
Blue patterns on wings: sky blue colored pencil
Green patterns on wings: light green colored pencil
Skin tone: Peach colored pencil, then lightly done over with a Q-tip to even it out
Flower: Prang washable brush pens purple, green, and orange
Outlines on hair and filling in flower petals: Inc Pro X-Tank0.7mm black pen
Sketched with: 0.7 led pencil

But yeah, I would tell you Vanitas's opinion on this picture of him...but he's dropping way too many F-bombs at the moment. xD
