fffffffffffff, this got on popular works! i'm so happy. T.T

sooooo....
for christmas i got the harry potter books.

i grew up with this series. i never paid attention to the books, just watched the movies. but i remember going outside with my friends and using tree twigs as wands and trying to talk in cheezy britsh accents.

i'm so gonna cry when the part 2 of the movie comes out.

i havn't read the books yet with luna in them (because of school, i am only on the 4th one) but she is one of my favorite characters, next to hermoine, snape, lupin, and sirius.

i did this half traditionally and half paintoolsai.
this is also my semi-realistic style. i might do this more often. :)

That's a very nice design.

The colours are very nice, even the hint of blue in her hair. Also the raining umberlla's a nice touch.

I adore the melting surreal feel of the umbrella. Her skin tone and thick eyelashes is beautiful!

]; I want the skin to be more smoothed by a softer color over the tannish red skin- it would fill in those white crayonish holes. Excellent work though! This could be a happy natural calender picture! *favs*

i agree. :( i have problems coloring and shading skin, because to me it's like i don't add enough shadows and it looks too flat. when i was done i realized the skin looked too pink. and i don't know what darker shades too use when shading. i need more practice lol. T.T

Actually, the skin tone is perfect!There are just whitish spots that are not filled in completely, so that is why I uses, for example:

-A peach colored Crayola(because Crayola is actually very good for "base" colors) to mix up the chalker skin colors. That is one of my methods. it may not work perfectly for you because your coloring materials may be different than mine, but blending always looks nice! ;P
