Illo from chapter 17 of my Bartimaeus fanfic: Nat holding his newborn daughter and feeling rather awkward about it. I don't think it's spoilerish, as those who have seen the coverart know already that he has a daughter in the fic.
Nat's daughter is based on a photo of my mum when she was a baby.

I know Nat's hands are a bit off... oh well. I didn't use a reference for him, and drawing hands is always hard for me without a ref.

You can use your own hand as a model, that is what I did to mine and I think that it worked pretty well. You cannot see it in my posted works here though, the ones I posted are done quickly and I do realistic hands when I really need to. Maybe I will post some of my "handy" drawings.

I wonder who the mother of the baby is? *thinks it over for a short while*

I give up! Well, I guess I have to wait for the seventeenth chapter. :)
