Nah, I did the whole thing using Paint.NET. Using circles on one layer as guides, mark them into eight wedges, then manually copy and rotate each element of the design around the circumference to create a template. After that it was a case of find a suitable picture of open ocean, then adjust the design into an ellipse so it appeared to float on top of it. After that it was a mixture of drawing the spires, making a mask for outline trimming, then overlaying sections of buildings and trees into the different parts, then lastly adding the reflections, shadow, and colour corrections :)Firiel on April 8, 2014, 5:55:28 PM

OK. :) It's just that the water-texture, flattish clouds, brightness of the blues, and the misty kind of fade on the horizon reminded me very strongly of a 3D-modelling program I like to use.Kudos on putting it together whatever your materials of origin, though. :)
