Daikuru - Like a Fungus

Description

A boy with something not exactly missing, but something not exactly present in his current state of mind. Like a fungus, he watches the tiny droplets attached to his smoothie roll over each other on their way downward, fully aware his hand was burning with chilled frenzy.
“I think…I think I’m not meant to be complicated.”
Another that couldn’t tell you what was on his mind if he tried. Wholly and utterly complacent, he lifts his head from a world of mysticism and wisdom to once again question the darkness before him.
“Why’s that?”
They won’t admit to caring about anything distinctly, one for fear of the outside world and the other for reasons he felt better left untouched. They sit in their separate worlds, sharing a conversation that meant nothing to either of them.
“If I was…you’d think I’d be over everything by now.”

Whooooooooooooooooa! That is awesome. Lookit those straight lines! And the clean, crisp shading!!! so different from what you usually do, yet still utterly your style. XD
I love your style, by the way. I think I've told you before, again and again, ad nauseum. 8D;

Thankyou~ inking those lines killed me, I must say. D: Straight lines and me were never meant to coexist...

And yeah, my style is heavily influenced by Kazuya Minekura (<333333) and Oh!Great (mainly his hair and inking stlye), so it's only natural you'd see it, I suppose.

Daikuru was my first OC, so there's much love for him. ^_^

Thank you very much! His hair always ends up giving me so much grief, though. UGH. I can never seem to draw it the same twice. ;_;

Yeah, I drew all the background pictures. I may end up loading that picture if I ever end up finishing it (it's been sitting in my sketchbook for about a year now). o.o;;;

I've always loved red shading around eyes, for some reason. Hopefully I don't stop you from trying it yourself, though. >.>

Pasted the sketches to a new under-layer, yeah. Actually four seperate layers, but I merged them afterward (still don't understand how you can only use one layer...I'd die. D:).

Go ahead and try this! It's a lot of fun, actually. But you'd have to use multiple layers...you up to it? O:

Ah. You know, I forgot to say, this is the first time you've draw Daikuru where his clothes have had a greater white to black ratio than the other way around. o.o
