Whee. Reading The Twelve Kingdoms at the same time as being relatively ticked off gets interesting pictures. This is, once again, just an experimentation in Photoshop. Trying to get my own style of coloring in it.
Anywho, this be Yoko Nakajima. A very ticked off Yoko Nakajima. <3 And yeah, Jouyu should be reflected in her eyes, but I really like it when Yoko goes insane all on her own. >_>;;;
Based off novel!Yoko (who is much cooler than anime!Yoko, in my opinion).

Same here. o_O Yoko would totally own me in a matter of milliseconds. AND YES! Read the book, love the book, be consumed by the book. >DAnd yes, fanart! Now I really need to draw Rakushun, Shouryu, Enki, Taiki, Keiki...::goes on and on:: ^_^

Most of my realism is super-sketchy, so I guess it just comes natural when I do anime? I dunno'...>_>But thank you! It took me a good while to pick what colors to use, honestly. D:
Because I didn't. I forgot. I feel incomplete. D=
