Figured I'd put at least one of my realism works up here...not that I have many, come to think of it...

So anyway, last semester I had a pastel workshop with Jon Wos (http://www.wosart.com/) in which he gave us a demonstration, then provided us with reference materials to work off of. I immediately grabbed a Prison Break ad from some magazine. XD Just got it back last week, though.

His left eye and nose are both a bit off, but other than that I'm pretty proud with how this turned out, considering I used to hate pastels with a passion. I like 'em now. >_>

Thank you! The shadows were my favorite. =3 I always start out with them when I do pastels. Always seem to forget about highlights, though...

Oooh, pastels!! This looks so amazing. Your traditional artwork is, really, mind-blowing. It's so cool~ and realism, too! *O*

Pastels...my teachers seem to be collectively obsessed with them. I beg them to let me use colored pencils but NO...I must branch out, they say...(/rant).
