Deedlit with a spirit

My first drawing posted in the last three months, it features Deedlit from Records of Lodoss War, surrounded by the light of a spirit.

I've started trying to work on my character poses; this is my first serious try in having a character not just standing csually on the ground. Without making it my priority, I've still worked on the clothes' shadows, which I can't yet draw easily.

The drawing wasn't originally made to have a background or the light, so the shading turned a little different than how it should have been.

Still, I feel like I've done yet again a good progress in my personal progression.
