All-powerful Mist

Description

Many think of Fire Emblem's Ike as a powerful, cool badass. What about his sister, Mist, when given Alondite (the Black Knight's sword), then ? The same blood runs in their veins...

Following the idea that the more I like characters, the better they turn off as drawings, you can guess I'm pretty much a fan of her. ^^'

I've fooled around with the shading (using only a blur tool was quite fun !), so it's less precise than usual. Please bear with it.

Well, back to the long project.~ I'll next be posting the first of 13 manga pages I've drawn for someone. Please look forward to it !

You're quite right; I didn't think at all at the perspective when I drew it. DX I'll take it in consideration next time.

Your appreciation is... ha ha, actually it is appreciated in return. ^^ I fear I won't be able to make something that good for a while, though.

Yeah, these are quite a few small girls with unusually big weapons to appreciate. :3 It's NOT something usual in the Fire Emblem games, mind you, but since you can equip this epic blade to the small Mist... and that there was only one such fanart on Internet until now, I just had to draw this.

Sadly, Mist can't pawn that much, since her maximum strength value is pretty low. She's more of a healer, though she can hold her ground against opponents with her unique, rapier-like weapon, allowing her to apply her magic instead of her strength to her attacks. It's good when you first get her, but it gets a bit weak by the end of the game. :/

Maybe you'll like to hear this... If I get the time, one of these days, I'll try animating some parts of the drawings (some of the clothes, the eyes, the hair...)

Thank you Tuntun ! ^^ I did my very best, since it was a project I wanted to do for a long time. Alas, I got a bit lazy when drawing the grass. I should have put some more work to it. :p

I have not played the Fire Emblem game, but I have heard amazing things from it. She is beautiful- I just love the frail looking girls that take out giant swords and pwn everyone. xD

This is awesome Andell. The perspective is a little unusual with (I think) a viewpoint situated approximately half Mist's height. She looks serious and determined - but that in no way detracts from her cuteness. Love her clothes - especially the spats and that long scarf. The heat rising from sword and the lushness of the grass enhances the overall effect I think. ^^
