Description
I entered this into the contest and won with it. I don't exactly know why; it wasn't the worst of the pictures I submitted, but it wasn't exactly my favorite. Sure, it's good, but I didn't think it would do that well. I used a reference from DMC2 for the face, took the costume from DMC3, and I think there was a snow scene somewhere in DMC4. Which is probably why it looks like this.

Overall it looks really good but..............well your making Dante look soft :( Dante is a butt kicking Demon so really if it were anyone else this would be better but Dante and soft dont go together well I like the technique a lot, but the combination is awkwardmewmagic5 on June 26, 2007, 12:22:42 AM

I think it looks wonderful, granted I haven't seen the other works you submitted for it.Over all I love the softness of the colors and just the general detail that comes from it~

Nice shading! :D His stomach and chest are bit weird to me though, there´s that almost white area between his abs, you know...
