I copied the pose from a book about geisha. And if ANYBODY can tell me how to pronounce it, please let me know. I think it's pronounced "gay-sha" but I heard somebody else pronounce it "gee-sha." So, yeah, this is the first realism pic I've done free hand. She reminds me of Mulan a little bit and she still has that manga/anime look to her, so I guess I didn't succeed in the realism part ^^ Oh, and I know that her eyes are too far apart and I'm sure there are tons of other things wrong. So, yeah......

I love the picture. The eyes, the folds in the clothes, everything. Your style is awesome.

It's Gay-sha. I used to think it was gee-sha, but the way japanese letters are pronounced 'e' is pronounced 'eh' as in educate, and 'i' is pronounced 'ee'. All together its gay-sha.

Yay Mulan! lol. Wicked, wicked awesome. It's still quite different from your normal style and I think it's a great attempt at realism, anyhow. Gotta love those Kimono Girls. :)

hun, realism is a total dog, this is good ^^ her eyes are the true problem, if they were closer it would be totally awesome! I hate realism noses for some reason o.O;;
