Here's an illustration for the second FMA Big Bang story I got to illustrate: Symptoms of Mercy: Deliver Me by Eviscera. It is on her Livejournal page - http://fm-alchemist.livejournal.com/7582525.html - right now - I encourage you to go and read it!

This derivative fan art is based on the work of Hiromu Arakawa and all rights are reserved to Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) © Hiromu Arakawa // Square/Enix.

Thank you, Arakawa-shi.

ArielthePHFWell, it is original art, in a way, though I am using someone else's characters. Thanks for the compliment!

HaganeNekoHaving read the story and knowing what Ed has just gone through, this just makes me cringe--in a good way!

It was fun seeing how this piece progressed from the lineart to the final product! Awesome and painful all at once!

Well done!

ArielthePHFThanks! And thanks for reminding me to put up a warning on the LJ post. I keep forgetting that not everyone can handle this stuff like I can.

What I liked about this piece was that I was able to use the Poser program to do it. I haven't been thrilled with the program, but it is better than having no models at all and it allows me to brainstorm angles and proportions a lot better than if I just guessed. I just keep thinking what it might be like if I actually was familiar with the program.

As always, my knowledge is at your disposal.
