I have 10 years of experience with drawing and took about 3 art classes and I'm only fourteen, however, I'm impressed, your just about as good as I am. Need to submit some of my portrait sketches though, I'm now more into the whole Computer Art thing instead, so I haven't drawn a big peace in a while.
Good work! Also, stop by my picture, only one submitted so far, but oh well.

This is pretty good, the eyes and eyebrows are very well shaded, you work well with charcoal/pencil ect. Only thing is the mouth looks a little too rushed, not alot of detail.

I would have to say you are pretty good for not taking an art class, but there is always room for improvement.
