Okay. I have to type this all again because AOL's getting jealous and trying to hijack Internet Explorer. >.<
Ahem, so, this will be a long explanation.
Sometimes I get inspired by something, and decide to do a picture using a random character, but then it turns into a pre-existing character, but I still keep the original idea of the picture, and then it turns out weird because it doesn't fit the character. ::gasps for air::
Run on sentances... Mrs. DeBruin would be ashamed.
So, this was originally inspired by the song Letters to You by Helen Trevillion(Go to Destiny-Hikari.net or I'll whap you) and the imagery of the guy hiding his eyes. Anyhow, so it's like the girl actually says what's on her mind and, tada, reaction. But then it turned into the loveable idiot elf, Nailo! Which is the alter-ego-sort-of-character of my dear friend Nailo. Like Azazel's mine. Yeeep, so this is practically like a picture of my friend himself. Gomen Nasai, Kupo-Kun. ^._.^

....The hell it isn't, the technique was all based off hers =.=; Also, that was a clear dis to an artist I adore, I should slap you XD
>^< Just read the tutorial and take what you like from it, change what you don't. I really did do it in about the same way. If you go look at Nailo's icon, it's the WIP of this pic from when I only had the highlights.(JUST LIKE THE TUTORIAL) If you've read the tutorial you can improvise it to make it your own, that's what it means to be an artist.

ThankynessI was inspired to give highlights a shot after reading Trinity_Fire's coloring tutorial. Wait, I told you trhat at school, didn't I? Ah, well, now anyone on this page can see that since I forgot to say.
The skin tone, by the way, was one of my many many flukes. ^_^
