o my word i know i've always loved that pic! animark is a great artist! mhmm i know one of the great things about that drawing is all the detail, because you see different things everytime you look at it (i do, anyway)<br />

o don't worry, me mummy is always there when i'm drawing to make sure i don't poke my eye out with a pencil and expose the fact that i am indeed an alien (ever see the faculty? jon stuart!). she also burns off one finger for every time i use too much detail, so heh i've been REALLY trying to not have too much detail.<br />

...ok sorry that was a little extreme. heh heh i was kidding, of course... don't want to scare anyone or anything...

It is just when you are too cluttered and/or there are just too many focuses in the pic. True... I guess that the pic I gave a link to could be said (easily) to be cluttered, but there aren't a lot of focuses, in fact there isn't really any at all. Also, there is a lot of room in the pic to breath (because it is so big). So detail is cool =D As long as you use it correctly (and ALWAYS with parrental supervision!)

hehe yes much to look at. an example of me "not knowing when to stop" so i kept adding detail b/c i liked the pic. it didn't turn out with toooooo much detail tho so it's all right

I know Nirvana, I also know their songs, I just don't know which songs are theirs or not ;) Sry about the last post, I was just in an extremely sarcastic mood =) I say stuff like that to my friends and we all know we don't mean it, but I guess I didn't clarify that here. Sry again ;)<br />

lol ooo harsh, jyan! we're all friends here! but yea i agree, most people dont read the comment thing below pictures so then you have to repeat yourself. but o well, having anyone looking at my pictures great. besides, chris is cool.<br />

"Read" is it just another four letter word? J/k Boss Man ;) I am hopelessly lost when it comes to most band's names so I guess I shouldn't even be posting *grin*.

lol um yea i have no official drawing tools (just an eraser, sharpener, and #2 pencil), so all of my blending is done w/ my fingers. and i usually don't wash my hands till after i'm done with a pic (if at all)- this explains the smudges. and you can't really see the "ghost" of her hand on the actual picture, but my scanner made it more noticible (heh i guess i need a new eraser tho).<br />

o and medieval clothing rocks!!

pretty! I like how you designed the cool-ish clothes, my clothing designs always turn out somewhat bland and medieval-looking... Shading is nice, only complaint really is the paper's kinda dirty, I can see fingerprint smudges and the eraser mark "ghost" of her hand.

oo thank you so much! no one ever comments on this pic (on or offline) and i really liked the way it came out, so i was kinda sad that no one else seemed to like it. wow you're definitely rite about the index fingers- heh i should check for these things next time i draw. and yes, i do often draw people too thin and tall, but i guess that's my style or something. (she came out a little too thin tho). the words were sort of an afterthought- it was missing something. and since i was singing "turnaround" i just started writing it down. thanks for noticing tho!

I love the feel of this one! The creative and fun cloths are great =) I'm not sure what is on her right hand (It is... clear ;)) but then again a bunch of stuff people wear serves no practical reason =) I guess that is why it is cool =) Neat tatoo design. I like how you added the belts to the shirt =) You could have just left it a "normal" shirt but instead you just added belts, brilliant! =D *Grin* You aligned the facial features verry well (pretty hard angle), but I think the nose is going down just a little too far. I like how the eyes are blank =) You did a great job on the hands, the lengths of the fingers are good and the shapes of them are consistant. The index finger does seem slightly long though... I think it is because they are just a little too long and the flesh connecting the thumb to the index finger isn't as far up (in these cases down and to the right) as it should be.<br />
Probably the best part I like about this pic is the words =) You kept them at a consistant distance away from the body at all times, which was important because it is pretty easy to notice the fluctuations. But they look cool because they are like an aura or something around her, I'm not quite sure why that is =)<br />
In this pic, like a few others, you also drew your character taller and thinner than they normally would. But that is ok if you want it like that because there are different styles. There is this one cartoon, I believe Kid Notoriouse, that draws their characters almost like stick figures ;) Lol heck! I've seen online comics with a full cast of potatoe characters =D So it is all up to you!<br />
