Takasugi Shinsaku

"To make interesting an otherwise boring world."
Takasugi wrote this poem as he died. Similar to his life, it has a beginning but no end.
Takasugi was a close friend of Katsura's and was also in-charge of the Kihei-tai division in the Ishin-shishi army. He suffered from Tuberculosis and probably died from it.
I think he looks cool here. What's surprising is that the real person actually looks like the animation, unlike Saitou.
