Tiy and Richard in the Forest

my two characters Tiy and Richard louning cutely in the forest! these two characters are both all original and art based off anything. maybe a mixture of a bunch of things- but no one particular. my elf character Tiy was kind of alone so i decided to make a man for her- in this case a little cat boy! who is named Richard. i like the name richard for some reason- me and my friends were being stupid the other and going on about how "dick" is short for "richard" so i decided to call him that. anyways- this picture probably took me about two weeks to complete -_- pretty pathetic. i have no time to draw/color pieces elaborately and quickly like i can during the summer- so if i want my shoot looking hott- and nummy- and beautiful i'll probably only be cranking out art atleast one piece a week the most at this rate. ugh... its disappointing- but i'm in an artist block- just getting over being sick- and lil tense from school work and all that good stuff. but life is good. so maybe i can find some optimistic things to put into my artwork like little Tiy and Richard. <br />
anyways i started sketching this the night before school started, i looked off a magna carta wallpaper on my computer for the hand perspective- because i really liked it. anything with hands = robin loving it im desperate at working on my skill with drawing hands so- yeh... the background was very quick and easy- just had to accent the space instead of leaving it blank like i normally would. i'm into backgrounds too- so my characters dont look so bland and lonely.... <br />

:::: Supplies used :::: sketched in .9mm lead mechanical pencil, roller ball ink pen, and fine tip sharpie used for detailed inking, regular sharpie used for inking dark outline. Colored in Ergosoft colored pencils, blended with eraser, text added on computer.<br />
