This is my very first dragon drawing. Kilik is a Haitian Tenora Wyvern, the most common species of Tenora Wyvern on the island of Tenora. At 41 in. tall, and weighing 10-15 lbs., the Haitian Tenora Wyvern is the smallest member of the Tenora Wyvern family. Their unique features are its ears and the fin on the top of its head that, when flared, help them appear larger than they already are. Despite this fact, the Haitian is actually quite curious and very friendly, making them loyal companions. Like cats, their ears move independently to pick up different sounds from different directions. When a Haitian Tenora Wyvern has hatched, their eyes are an aquamarine-blue color. As they get older, their eyes change to their permanent eye color. 1 in 100 of any Tenora Wyvern species are born with a genetic 'chip' in the left ear membrane. Like velociraptors, a Haitian's large brain matches their body ratio, making them excellent hunters, and can be easily trained. They have various vocalizations, including birdsongs from birds like the Northern Cardinal, Black-capped Chickadee, American Goldfinch, House Sparrow, and American Robin. Tourists adore these creatures, and sometimes give them human food. Despite their human food gifts, the Haitian will fly around, working off the human's offering, and still hunt for its own food, such as Tenora chickens and Snowshoe hare.

This was a lot of fun to draw. My favorite part of this pic are the eyes, I don't know why. Did this all free-handed.

BioEliteI've actually updated and redone this pic. I plan to make these Tenora Wyverns an official ref so others can make their own (as long as they credit me for the species) Also, holy cow, 2013? Man, my art has improved since then.
