Description

This is an old painting. From before KH2 even came out... This means two things...1) It's old, so I've since gotten better 2)It's a painting, which means animeish style is soooooo hard to make look good.
Anyway, the idea of this was to draw parallels between main characters, as in, in my opinion, Goofy is the equivalent of Kari, Mickey is Sora, and Donald is Riku, both clothing wise, as well as personalities etc.
Done in tempera

you're so skillful with tempera. I'm surely couldn't so that. And you say you've improved whoa!!!! such a great artist!

Thanks! It took me a year or so to paint something that I could bear to look at, then I just got better from there. I really like the medium. Imagine watercolors, but thicker, and less watery. Not like acrylics, which dry really quickly and, in my opinion, are rather unforgiving.

yeah, I know what you mean, I know the difference between watercolor and tempera because I've tried them both and they are very difficult to use. Nonetheless I've never tried nor acrylics nor oil paint.

Yeah, I've never tried oils either. I think I will in the future for sure though. The other reason I don't like acrylics is that if you don't spend enough time with them the colors are too bright and look cartoonish.

yea..sadly though the original is a lot more colourful, paintings never transfer well to the computer. Thanks!
