Description

An "evolved" form of the beetle Pokemon, Pinsir. Sort of.

It doesn't really look like a Pinsir anymore, but I had real trouble trying to work out what it could turn into...

Yeah, I know, rubbish name, too. Maybe I'll change it later. Comments alwaus appreciated, though. :)

Drawn in HB and 0.3 mechanical pencil, inked with 0.3 drawing pen, coloured with felt tips. Background added in Microsoft Paint.

Evolution Level:Any. Evolves from Pinsir when trading holding a Lagging Tail or Grip Claw.
Evolved Forms:None.
Location:Hoenn, Ancient Ruins.
Type:Bug/Ground.

Description:Scorpince digs itself a burrow just below the surface of the sand in the Ancient Ruins. The constant sandstorms there act as good camouflage, making it easy for it to sneak up on unwary prey. Unlike Pinsir, Scorpince can’t throw its enemies; what it can’t crush with its giant pincers, it gouges with its spiky horn. Although it looks fairly agile, Scorpince can only travel straight lines; it’s useless at turning sharp corners.

I think you're being too hard on yourself, that's great, I could totally see the Pinsir similarity. And the name's great, this is based on a world where the official pokemon have names like Muk (Muck? Geddit?) and Mankey (Monkey? Geddit?)

cool. you should make an evolved form for dunsparce, cause it REALLY needs one, so it isnt as useless. maybe have dunsparce be the next magikarp, give it a powerful evolved form. if thats not too much to ask, of course. dont want artist burn-out, do we? naaah. that's be bad.

Thanks, and I agree with Gadoink too, Dunsparce reallyneeds to evolve. I've got an idea for it, but I haven't had much time to develop it yet. I'll get around to it whenever I can, though.
