Malmation came out looking a little more confusing than I'd hoped. I shouldn't have used the watercolour pencils on that type of paper, it was too... bumpy. :s

The name's derived from the words dalmation and malevolent.

Sketched with a 0.3 mechanical pencil, inked with a 0.1 drawing pen. Malmation coloured with felt tips and silver metallic pen, background in dry watercolour pencils. Comments welcome! :)

This creepy canine is likely to be the result of a gene-splicing experiment. Having a missile for a head renders Malmation blind, but its sense of smell is frighteningly acute.
Malmation have vicious temperaments, probably because they’re in a lot of pain: the missile attachment means their fur and tail are always on fire. In addition, the spots on its coat are actually miniature black holes that can suck objects into non-existence. Nor surprisingly, most avoid Malmation like the plague.

^_^ I prefer doing art the traditional way, I really want to do more this way. It's a shame working with coloured pencils can be so time-consuming...

I love the sparkly effect in his tail and in the BG. Very creative design on Malmation as well. It's a rival for a new one I made called Aggrestoat (not in appearance, but in ferocity! What a battle that would be...)

boy, have I seen some odd ones out of you, but this really beats the best! once again your creativity sparks an interest from the very first glance! this creature is ver creative, and kinda scarey. lol it reminds me of a demon dog!

I know he's odd, and kind of demonic... I'd originally intended for him to be an evolution of Houndoom, but eventually decided to leave him as he is, as an unevolved Pokemon.
