THERE IS A SPOILER IN THIS HERE DESCRIPTION.

Laurie Collins, ladies and gents. For those of you out of the know, Laurie Collins - aka Wallflower - is a mutant from the New Mutants/New X-Men Academy X. She has the power to trigger very strong emotional reactions from people by use of her pheromones. At first, she could not control this power, so if she was nervous, people around her were very nervous, and so on. Later she figured it out. ...and then later got shot in the head. Figures.

In the comics, when Laurie's power manifests, it shows up as diferent colors of mist around her head and shoulders. No one can see it... it's just so the reader can tell she's using her pheromone power. Yellow represented fear, hence why the misty stuff is yellow in this.
