Emos' not for the depressed any more. The new emotion is happy, and its for the passinately expressive...or the color blind....
Anyway,m title. Lovingly dubbed so. I had this vision in my mind of a emo looking boy in "ow-that-hurts-my-retinas" sort of bright colors. While drawing the outline the thought of "emo in technicolor" came to mind and made me giggle, hense, the name stuck. This is one of those pictures that actually came out as I had planed. Looks very nice here, but in real life what appears to be red is actually orange. Eh, whatcha gonna do. I really enjoy the "blam-im-a-gonna-eat-your-brain-and-make-your-eyes-hurt" colors. I never work this bright, or with color at all for that matter, but it was uber fun. (skin color even came out looking like skin rather then some sort of mutated pink or yellow.)
About two hours total. Sketched with mechanical pencil, inked with gray ink pen, colored with prismacolor markers and prismacolor pencils on bristol board.
