Genis: Blissful Boredom

I like how this one came out. It's Genis being bored on the beach, and he's playing with the water. He's playing arround with his Kendama as he casts the spells (as usual) . If I was a TOS character, I would SO be Genis. He is teh awesome

It took a while, because first, I drew it on paper, then I scanned it in, then I did the block coloring, then I brushed in the whole thing on one layer. so it's a painting.

The hair was the last thing I did. I didn't have any idea how to do it, so I just went at it as fast as I could, and I was like "Hey, that looks pretty good." so I kept doing it that way, and it looks cool now, so yeah. I like how the shiny makes the hair look all silvery ^__^

[Edit] And Wouldja believe the inspiration for this came from a twisted up tissue O_O (link from Deviantart page)

Done on Corel Painter IX - 4 days on and off - usually at night
