Here's just a picture of the dogs anatomy that I drew as best I could out of memory. The reason that I'm submitting this art is to get some opinions and maybe some useful advice from some of you who might be experts on the knowledge of dogs. It'd also be really awesome if you could give me some cool and interesting facts about dogs.

I've gotten so interested in dogs since I watched the movie 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua'. The movie inspired me to want to do a feral story about wild dogs.

P.S. Feel free to correct me on any mistakes I may have created on this Dobermann's anatomy, thanks! :)

ZonadowThe only mistakes I see are, the waist/stomach area seems far too thin, the elbow seems to go back too far, and the muzzle is usually thin and pointed. This one looks a little bit too much like a thick rectangle.
Otherwise it'd be easy to tell this is a doberman from miles away.

SkyThingThat's pretty good :)! I've been practicing dog anatomy too. All the details look really good. There's only 3 main problems I can think of. The front legs..I'm bad at explaining this sort of thing, so hopefully this makes sense. They sorta connect to the front of the body (the ribcage, from looking at a skeletal anatomy picture), I only figured that out about a week ago, so I haven't gotten to draw it that way yet, but that's the general idea. The upper part of the back legs aren't completely correct either. It's particularly hard to explain back legs. The front of them is probably fine, the back should be a little more streamlined. The final thing to fix is the body gets a little too skinny by the back legs. Overall, great! You're much better at the face than me.

A link I used to confirm my initial conclusions, also pretty cool anatomical reference:

ColourBlindNo worries you explained everything right to my understanding ^^ Thanks so much for your insightful comment, I was really hoping to get an honest critique from someone. I'm glad I didn't get TOO much wrong on the anatomy of this dog, I had figured he might've been too thin lol So, by streamlined you mean lifted a little more? Now that I look at it the hind leg does look a little dislocated O_o Thanks again for your comment and the link! ^^ Good luck with your practices =)
