Yes, this was completely done in charcoal (Which is really hard to use..), and it's my second real attempt at realisim. I'm trying to get better, so please leave comments and help me out here! ^^;

Draw what you see, not what you think you see. Don't break things down into lines like you would with cartooning, see shapes, and draw those.

Try drawing from actualy picture of people.
