Description

First time drawing anything steampunk xD I enjoyed designing her outfit, haha. Just started added things as I was coloring. This is an entry for a contest on Gaia. But it's for a group called SHOE, and I've seen them around cons here in Colorado. I just happened to stumble upon their contest :B Wish me luck!! >.<;

Does "Shoe" happen to stand for something? P;

At first, I thought her name was Shoe, and I was going to bw all, "What an incredibly original and brilliant name! Name MY character inanimate objects for me Crazy! 8D"

-But I DO LOVE her boots and corset with the almost clock like pendant in the middle!

Well...S.H.O.E (Super Happy Otaku Entertainment) is a group I've seen around at conventions xD Apparently they do interactive events like anime improv...or something xD I've honestly never really seen them in action.

Their mascot is this chick though :3 And her name is Shoe (I'm pretty sure ;>>)

When I first heard of them I got a little sad, 'cause my shop/booth/whatever you wanna call it is called "Suzu Shoe" lol. I was like...NUUUUU!!! NAME STEALAGE!!!! D:< But who knows who came up with the name first xD And at least it's not EXACTLY the same, haha.

In their contest, they wanted us to draw Shoe in a different outfit and gave a list of qualifying ideas :3 So I chose steampunk 'cause I've never done it before ^^;

Designing the outfit was fun xD The only reason why I didn't make the pendant a clock was because it'd be awkward having people stare at you BEWBS everytime if they wanted to know the time xD
