:( Yes, I'm afraid it's 100 percent true. Mia the Teddy Bear Hamster's life ended tonight (technically LAST night now) around 10:30 pm. She escaped again, and I couldn't find her for a while. At last, I walked into the bathroom, and found Tilly, my Miniature Dachshund, giving her a fatal bite to the throat. I was SECONDS too late. SECONDS.
I can't blame Tilly, though. Now that she has 6 puppies, she's exremely protective of them. Plus, she's a Dachshund, and they're hunting dogs. I just wish I had found Mia before she had.

Anyway, I buried her under a bush in the backyard. Normally I'm pretty much indifferent when my rodents die, because...they're rodents, and they don't live long. But Mia was a little closer to my heart for some reason...and yes. I did cry a tiny bit after I buried her. ^^; Just...knowing I'd never see her big, bright eyes greeting me each time I entered my room...it was a little hard. She really grew on me a LOT.

Sooo, anyway...all that to say, I had to draw this in honor of her. It doesn't look too great, though...cuz I'm REALLY tired...
Poor little Todd...Whether or not Mia stays in the comic series for a while longer is COMPLETELY up to you guys. Really. It doesn't matter to me, but I need input. :nod:

RIP, Mia. You will be missed. And if not by anyone else, DEFINITELY by me.

OOOOOH! you poor thing! i think you are an amazing artist. i envy you. i want to draw like you someday. i love you comics. you are so good at that. and your good at keeping up with them. unlike me, i started a comic a really long time ago and still haven't made that dang second page.

Mia was a good hampster. She was adorable, cute (despite what Peatro said, and a good friend to Todd and her real owner. I have seen this b4.RIP. She is in a better place. I say Mia WILL live on and on in all of us. Thats a yes keep her in the comic.
