Doesn't everyone feel like this every once in a while?
Scavenge on Deviantart.com said she hadn't seen any traditional media stuff in a while--So here's one that started out as a sketch. ^^
Whooo symbolic art. This is one of my characters again and if you've browsed my gallery you've seen her more than once--Nyxis the (Dun dun duuun!) tragic hero stereotype. :)
I was practicing with poses and I said, "Hey! That looks pretty good!" So here we are, after three days of pencil-ing and penning. Oh yes, and the background is made with charcoal pencil(I believe that's what it's called?) that my friend Erin gave me for a birthday present, but I didn't have a chance to use them till now. Note the dramatic use of a single color on a black-and-white image!

Hmmm...no shiny stuff, no glitter, no glow....yet I love it! Very dramatic! And yes, I have been there, far too many times. I don't think that I'd be able to position the bat wings so perfectly, not to mention draw the beautiful roses! Excellent job.sexxygirl93 on November 24, 2007, 7:24:31 AM

Wow! awsome drawing! i love how the only thing in color is the blood,it ads a great sort of emotion to it. I don't usually like drawings like this,but this one is quite impressive! Great job! *favs*
