I'm about ready to throw my piece of crap scanner out the window. >.< It doesn't help that my coloring skills suck and then the scanner enhances the suck and it becomes one big suckfest. Grrrrrr . . .

Anyways enough ranting about that . . . This is for Alex_Hoheimer's winter contest. I drew my original character Miyoko from my werewolf story looking up at the falling snowflakes. How sweet. The perspective isn't that great but it's good for the first time drawing someone looking up. ^^ I know her hands are quite big but I couldn't make them smaller without them looking gross so I left them alone. The coloring is horrible (i colored this at midnight) Hopefully you can look past all these imperfections and appreciate the effort. Oh and the background to this pic is the ground covered in snow. I know kinda lame right but she's looking up so the background obviously is the ground and you can count the snowflakes too. ^^

Credit to Alexis_Hoheimer herself for the design of Miyoko (1st place winner in my character contest) I think it's quite funny that I decided to use her contest design to enter in her contest. ^~ HOPE YOU LIKE IT ALEXIS_HOHEIMER!!!!

Actually they didn't take as long as I thought but going back over them with ink took a long time. ^~ Thank you so much for noticing! :3

Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!
I liked having the "sneak peaks" all the way through your drawing process, the end result, as I said, is beautiful!
If I may offer a smidge of critique, I think it would help the perspective to give her sleeves the added look of hanging downwards more, perhaps hugging closer to her arms on the portion you can see. And to me, her hair looks a bit long, unless it really is that long.
But in all other regards, wonderous! :3 I especially like the hands. You drew them excellently!

Thank you ever so much. Yes I knew about the sleeves but at that point I didn't feel like changing them. I'm not sure if her hair is really going to be that long, I just had fun drawing it like that. It could look long because she's looking up . . . let's go with that. ^~ Anyways thanks again my darling. :3
