This was done for a contest that I entered in (for painting class.) The theme was "I wonder why". It's probably not even entered yet, but we'll see where it goes. The background was done in watercolor, the smoke was done in watered down acrylic, and the character was done in acrylic (thus the difference of it in comparison to my other paintings). It's suppose to represemt our inner souls within the darkness of our true minds just wondering...why?

I am blown away by your talent. Acrylic is hard for me to work with. I love the contrast of her clothing against the background, and those wings are just gorgeous.
