Wife and Mother

From left to right: Kaoru, little Kenji, and Kenshin. Started off as a sketch, that I was too afraid to ink (because I really suck at inking). I decided to try something I haven't done in a long time, and that was finish a piece of work, as a sketch. I didn't see many art (original or fan art) depicting a happy the Himura family, so I created one of my own!

Took a 2-3 hours because I had no idea how to draw the Kimono, but I spent about 1 hour the previous day sketching the rough. The background is a screentone borrowed from a friend. Enjoy :)
