Storm by Diathene
Storm by Diathene

A quick fanart of the African goddess, inspired by Vallejo and Bell's art on the Fleer '95 cards.

No, she isn't super-skinny. Yes, that's deliberate.
Bunny36Quick!?! This is awesome, her hair is utterly beautiful as is her expression. This is possibly the best Storm fanart I've seen, the only thing is, as cptShort said, her torso is a little large compared to the rest of her. It's wonderful to so her drawn without being overly skinny but her arms especially need a little thickening to be in proportion.

cptShortWoah. Looong comment. And it says that it's a quick fanart, too. I'm so, so sorry. I can really be an idiot, especially when it comes to my having some random quirk with a picture, I'm so sorry.

Except for the compliments, I'm not taking them back. Really, though. I'm sorry!!

cptShortVery nice picture, Storm's pretty cool from what I know of her (which is very little).

I like the way you did the blue on her, as crayonboy pointed out, and I agree about her hair.

Very dynamic pose, and the light source is consistant. Great picture overall!

I don't want to seem rude, but there are a couple things that I would like to point out that might make the picture even better, which is really saying something.

Mainly I wanted to say that her torso seems large compared to the rest of her. I know you wanted her proportioned normally, which I'm completely in agreement about, but her arms, butt, thighs and head seem small in comparison. A little thickening and she'd be even more beautiful than she already is.

On the same note, she doesn't seem to have a butt in general, which is slightly dissapointing, since most people do have them. Well, she's got one, but it's a bit on the small side.

Last and least, the arm farthest away from us is as thick as the one closest to us, making her right arm seem thicker. Wait, wait. Not her right, it's fine. Her left arm seems too skinny.

And that's all. Sorry if that seemed long or anything, I was trying to help, not rip apart (although that's be quite a feat with this picture... not enough imperfections to rip at).

So, yeah, I really like it! It feels cool, powerful, and beautiful. I like a lot of your work, and this is no exception.

Bleak_Leadu have some serious skills. Ur style would be great as cover art for comic books.
