This is my first attempt at Pastels and i am really proud of my work.
This was a present for my sister and she absolutly loves it and Im doing Ariel next :)
I cant wait to experiment more.

First time with pastels? this is great! I used them to make still life once then I made an anime char which didn't work out well then I made a couple cats then I made a wolf and I don't remember what I used them with after that. Anyways, I love the face and highlights on the hair! The shading is very nice too and I love the background. In my opinion, the neck could be just a bit thicker and more straight as well as the shoulders less curvy and more even. This could just be part of the style though. Still it's nice to accomodate and mix a bit of a style of your own with some things, yupyup ^^

I never used pastels. I'm not sure if I could help much there. You might be able to work on your proportion though. Because the ears a little off, seeing as one is slightly higher than the other. But these are small mistakes, and can be corrected. I really think you're a great artist, probably better than me. Because your work actually looks a lot like the character! It's hard for me to do that. I can't really say much about it's flaws, it's actually very good!
