We see Lucy Van Pelt angry telling Snoopy, who act as the psychiatrist in this case of role reversal, about Charlie Brown telling then she's jealous of him even if he's a loser in baseball and football and he got the attention of Marcie and Peppermint Patty.

Lucy's feelings seem quite normal - Charlie must have something she finds attractive.

Or perhaps there's ongoing rivalry between Lucy, Marcie and Patty, including friendship with boys ? ;)
