Okay...this is Christian, another one of my original characters. The bio on him is a little sketchy but what I can tell you is that he's swordsman in this story I'm writing about a futuristic society on Mars. That’s all I have to say for now. Any more info and I’d fill up the entire screen. God, I suck at “shading!”

i like his ears! and proportions - everything fine, but as you said yourself - the shading... i dont think its bad, not at all! for a character youve made up yourself and drawn without reference (i guess) this is very good. you should try not to wipe the pencil shadings with your fingers, i know its sometimes very tempting but RESIST!!! hm, you actually did quite a good job on this here....why am i telling you of then? O_o
anyway, errr...eyebrows. shading lines in direction of the hair! also on is head
work on the nose's shape
