The Lulworth Mermaid

I wanted to wait until I got a scanner to upload this... it paid off nicely.

This is based on a story from where I used to live, in a place called Lulworth.

The story goes that when mermaids came out of the water, their tails would turn into a silky cloth and they would grow legs. There was once a man who was in love with a mermaid and one day he saw her on the beach and stole her cloth tail so she could not go back to the sea. But after time, she began to get more and more depressed and in the end he felt so bad, he gave her back her tail, so she could go home...
