“Elaine, you're upset? Is there something wrong?” He cooed, moving so that he was facing me on the couch, his one leg placed on the floor while the other was sprawled out gently behind my back. My knees were folded under me and my hands were placed in my lap. My right hand picked the thumbnail of my left hand in a nervous fit to find something to say.
“Not really.” I replied, being sure not to make eye contact with him. I knew the moment I gazed into his bright blue orbs I would begin to cry. He grabbed my shoulders and locked me against his cold chest in a gentle hug.
“Yeee~~~sss there is.” He laughed, twisting my hair between his index finger and his thumb. His voice was soothing, like the first taste of chocolate to a four year old, sweet and succulent. There was no other sound like it, and I hoped there would never be.

This took me forever! GAHHH...I cleaned up the original sketch and then colored it @_@ FOREVER I SAY...

anyway...these are two of my characters for my new story. The boy's name is Royce Hilton and the girl's name is Elaine Moore. Royce is a vampire! WEEE
