Partly I was playing with color. Partly...
I have this recurring picture in my head, where I see songs--especially songs directed TO somebody, as in hymns, odes, or love songs--as a series of small winged creatures carrying jewels in their beaks or claws. Each note or word is a different gem. By the logic of fire=passion, an especially heartfelt/enthusiastic song might be a flock of firebirds.

FirielOh, thank you! ^_^
Yeah, a lot of my sketches end up on the small side, unfortunately.

Dream_Fireyour very welcome, and is it a problem with your scanner or do you just draw small?

FirielI draw small. If I'm putting a lot of time into something I might do an eight-inch drawing, but normally a page that size will be full of tiny idea-scribbles put down whenever a picture flashes into my brain and I have my tools handy, and then the better ones go into my computer.

Dream_Firedo when you do a bigger drawing its filled with other drawings that randomly come to you? thats pretty cool actually, it would be like a collogue. (think i spelled it right)

FirielWell, sometimes they blend together. Sometimes if I'm doing a big drawing then that means lots of shading/coloring on the page, and there isn't room for little sketches around it.
