Doctor Strange

So, I've been realizing--perhaps with a little bit of adamantly-worded help--that I need to work more on being able to freehand characters recognizably in my own style, rather than being quite so ref-dependant as I've been. Not that I'm going to be trying new poses on photorealistic portraits anytime soon, but at least I should practice showing some originality on cartoon characters. And I figured comic book heroes, who have had several artists draw them with differing styles over time rather than have one canonical Correct Form, might be a good place to start.

I'm no expert on the good doctor/sorcerer. I've only met him so far through the 2007 animated movie and the comic "Nightcrawler's Inferno," but he made a positive impression, and plus that, he just looks cool. :p So here's trying.
