:D Charcoal is kind of hard for me, personally, but I know a couple of people who really love working with it. It's soft and smudgy and leaves stray bits of powder, and how hard it is for a person seems to depend on whether what they like/want is more clear, bold lines and a lack of messiness or more like something soft which can be molded easily into shading with a fingertip. If that makes sense.

Glad you like the hair. :) I agree there's something off on the lower half of the face - my first instinct was that I might have made some of the lines rounder/added some weight.
