Nice sketch. I've never seen 'Pacific Rim' (don't honestly really have an interest to.) All I know about it is that it appears to be an homage to old Japanese monster movies.

Yeah, I know it's not everybody's thing.
Not the deepest stuff in the world obviously, but the fun rock score, Idris Elba as commanding officer, and a can-be-read-as-platonic male/female battle-partner relationship with the main characters were definite pluses for me. :)

not familiar with the character or the show but I like the simplicity of the sketch and especially I like how it focuses on the eyes
