Description

Kind of a surreal patterned representation of the taste of a tea I got in a Christmas package this year - a cinnamon-hibiscus blend, which I drank with honey. Leaves for the tea base, floral pink, honey-gold sweet, hot-spicy-tingly star-studded red of cinnamon. I thought it might be fun to try to show flavor, instead of just showing somebody drinking tea...

this is awesome, both in concept and execution.
I especially love the hybiscus and the green leaf swirls. the bee is great too, and the expression. really well done overall. love it.

My mom really liked the hibiscus as well - she told me after the picture was already finished that she'd actually had a hibiscus plant at one of her childhood homes.
