Description

I've been mostly trying to keep to black-and-white for Intober pieces but I was really craving some color in my life again.

My Shadow Peophin Just1n1us and his guard-Tencals Moondust (who he found on his first trip up to Kreludor) chilling in the library at night. All of the books on the shelves are ones he has read in-game.

I'm filing him under "Normal" rather than "Anthro," because although he's in clothes, I haven't humanized him any farther than in-game format already does - still maintains his hooves, fore-knee posture, horsey face and mane...

There's one thing about ungulate characters drawn in such style, which has always caused me to wonder - manipulating their hooves like humanoid characters use their hands must be a real challenge since a cloven hoof like this doesn't allow motion on par with five or four fingers.

Still, I like the colors and effects in this painting. :)
