Part 1034 of my ongoing ability to make people go 'What's that supposed the be?'

I've been getting into older t.v and movies. This is an old Japanese t.v show called 'Monkey', based on the book 'Journey to the West'. If you don't know either of them...it's the story Saiyuki and Dragonball Z was based on.

Thought I could do a good job...but I think I failed.

Gyaah! No, I absolutely love this!! I don't think I mentioned this to you before, but, uh, I'm Chinese, so this is right up my alley.
And about time someone actually DREW some 'Journey to the West' art!! oooh, but I love this. In fact, I'm faving it. And, um, honestly, I only do that sparingly nowadays. >>;

But I really love this!! Oooh, it's so cool. The, the designs, and the style you put to this is so wonderful. :> ABsolutely love it! Son goku actually looks like himself, and with all the 'forms' of goku that I've seen by now, that's pretty darn good. :)

Since I'm a stickler though, I have to mention two things... Goku usually wears a tiger pelt around his waist, and the 'Hakkai' guy with the rake is actually a kind of pig demon. :>

But, don't mind my babbling. I really do love this, and it's absolutely amazing. It's just so rare anyone ever attempts to depict chinese culture/mythology in a half-decent way, so I love this. :)

That is I think the nicest compliment I've EVER gotten. Wait a minute! I'm YOUR fan! I should be giving you hearts! How did that happen?

I've been trying to collect Journey to the West stuff and there's soooo many different versions of the characters I get confused about what they're supposed to look like. I just went off the dvd's. I didn't know about the tiger pelt so thanks. I know that guy did turn into a piggish demon now and then.

nope. i have absolutely no idea what youre talking bout (dragonball was based on something...?) but hey it looks awsome as always i like the monks face best hehe
why did you hide the horses head?
and these people dont look too japanese XD
and i dont like monkeys (thats some shootty information and has nothing to do with the pic)
