So anyway, I did this drawing...and I even tried doing a little background there behind him. A little city scape and a moon...even tried some shading and stuff...but my scanner decided it wasn't good enough and completely screwed it up. Blending and smudging all the lines together so that it was just a mess of ugly lines. :( So I erased all that and did a quick photoshop background.

It's probably better that way. The computer is a better artist than I am. ;)

supergirlcomixYou are quite good at capturing emotion (huzzah for randomly going about people's gallerys and commenting!! I'm enjoying your gallery so much I'm actually going to fav you so I can keep up with your work. ^_^)Peter Parker really is one of the most abused heroes of the comics...he had a very rough life. It's amazing how you can capture that. Bravo to you!

G76Wow...thank you very much. ^^

There was a time when I read the Spiderman comics constantly. He really did have a hard time...with villians and in his life. And then when I saw the movies I remembered just how badly things seem to go for him. It's the thing about him I always remember first so that was my first idea about how to draw him.

Trinity_FireAwwwww~ D: I woulda liked to see it anyways. :] And, no way. I swear, you draw better textures and smooth lines and circles and the like than computers. I SWEAR.
But, anyway~ this movie was kinda sad-ish. >>; But good! And you've caught the feeling well here... Not to mention the awesome spidey outfit, and OH MY GOD those BRICKS. I'm amazed, yet again~ you're amazing. Seriously. I'd rather have you do textures for me than any blimey ol' photoshop. This is so cool. :]

G76Yeah...those movies all had some sadness to them. I think I was very influenced by that. And that city scape...not so good. I might've erased it even if it worked.

I seriously question my ability to do any sort of texture. I really really do. I'm always ashamed of my attempts and always want to erase it. So...now...I'm very happy :) :) :)
This is me at my worst...and yet you like it. Not only that...I beat photoshop! XD

marschiboi=O no its not! you said it yourself, the computer completely screwed it up! the idiot XD i bet you did a wonderful job on the background, pity it didnt show up :'(
i love the picture, its so great! and i love the idea to make it kind of a sequel to the batman drawing ;D
everythings so cool here, the way he sticks to the wall and uses his own feet as a seat; that you drew him without the mask as only a boy; how his suit turned out, its so cool <3...and the emotion...is just awsome
its so nice, you should draw him more often :)
and you had really no reference for his suit? wow...

G76Thank you so very very much. <3<3<3

I really should use some reference one of these days. Just for the webbing on his costume. I always just do it, but it's quite tricky in places. =O How it runs down over his shoulders and onto his arms. Yes...I need to grab a few comics next time.

I think I would like to do another Spidey picture. (or maybe I could do a series of supeheroes at the end of their day. XD Actually...that's not a bad idea. Hmmm...) I like doing Spidey's costume. It's a bit complicated, but I think it looks good when it's done. Maybe for the next one...an action picture. ;)
