A Birthday Sneak Preview...

I've been working on this gift for a birthday present. It's still seventeen days away (or not depending on when you read this) but I've been thinking about maybe showing them a bit. Like a preview before the full movie. Hopefully it will make the days before their birthday a bit happier. And also, I ruined one of their birthday surprises so I have this need to even it out. So this is the preview I came up with.

And I think I should add...I can have trouble trying to pick a category for my drawings normally...imagine what I went through with this one. *picks pieces of head up from floor* Yeah...

if i were the person to receive this present...i would be sooo excited about it! there are some things i dont know what theyre about D: damn...i cant wait to find out

(though, why would it ruin the surprise if you said how long it took you to do this?)

Well, the time it took is part of the present...the time it took and the drawings go together, but that's all I'm saying. BWAHAHAHA! XD

There's some original stuff in there so it's okay if you don't recognize everything. I ran out of fanart ideas so I had to do make some stuff up.

I'm very very happy this little preview has excited you. My blood pressure has been quite high worrying if what I did was a good idea...but now it's not so high. <3

A picture full of pictures!! Those are always fun to do! My 150th pic pic is actually one of this ilk. It's a challenge, but it's so much fun! Goodness! What a lucky person to get drawn presents from you! The lovey doveyness is my favorite. But I love the Zombie too....and the peirced fellow...oooohhhh...I love it all!! Bravo to you! <3

Well, I have to be honest. I just put them together on the computer. I drew them separately and then tried to layer them in a way that looked good. But I like how it turned out. I'm thinking I might get some of my scrappy sketchbook stuff and throw it all together like this. Might make it look better.

You'll have to tell me your birthday so I can draw you a picture. Or...wait...did you already tell me? Damn, I have a feeling you did. Well, you'll have to remind me so I can write it down. O_-

It can be quite hard doing birthday gifts. I always try to do them sneakily, so that they won't think I'm doing anything...but then that means I spend a couple of weeks trying to think of something they might like. D:

These were done separately. I just layered them together in photoshop. I thought it might be a good way to show some stuff, but hide the full picture until later, except for that one on top. :P

That girl with the piercings is really a guy. Sometimes there's not much difference in the way I draw the sexes. And everytime I see Davy Jones I think it looks cool. Reminds me of Dr. Zoidberg. And it reminds me I still have yet to see the second of those movies, or all the first one...or the third one.
