Description
A buddy is going to team-up with me on one of my calendar pages. We worked out that I would draw his characters and he would draw mine and then compose them into a scene. A meeting between the two probably.
He did a layout for me, which I was expecting to be rough...but it wasn't far from it. It was amazing, and the composition was perfect. It was so good I had to start work straight away.
This isn't the final of my half of the page. It's just something for me to use as reference and it was a chance for me to play around with the characters and see how I wanted to approach them.

You know, drawing someone else's original characters, I always stick very close to their design. Try to put all the little details in the right place and stuff like that. I think maybe I should make it even more my own thing. Do my own little design thing to them.But see...know you said it's wonderful. I don't want to change anything. <3<3<3

I will be sure to pass on your kudos. =) The characters are pretty nice. I think he plans to make a comic with them to. That would be great if he does that.I might change the characters a bit when I do the final one, but thanks for giving some confidence for when I do that. <3

Oooooh, maan, this looks like it's gonna be amazing! Wow, I can't wait to see the finish.A-And just... a reference??? I do NOT create masterpieces to use as references. This is amazing. I love the guy with the clockwork~ the designs are quite spiffy.

The designs are insane...in a very good way. That clock guy...I just look at it sometimes and marvel at his design. O_o I don't think I'd ever come up with something like that. I love the piggy chef and the trash can man. XD They were fun.I can't wait either. D: I wanna see them with Lil' G, in his new style.
the character design may be good but youve most definitely added something to it that makes the whole thing even more wonderful :)
