Yeah, I tried to do some shading. And I emphasise...tried.

I had this idea for those two guys in front. Making fun of Batman, not knowing he's standing behind them. It's something I've always wanted to see in a movie. So I decided to try drawing it. (Those guys have question marks on them because the work for The Riddler ;).)

Honestly...I would have been happy to just draw those two guys and just have Batman in outline or something...but I still have this weird urge to try filling the page with as much as I can. Soooo...off I went.

The perspective was guessed, and the buildings I 'borrowed' from a Batman comic.

So, there were are.

Shading is hard. D:

You are my hero. HERO!!! When you draw people they look so freaking natural!! Their expressions don't look forced...they look completely natural!! <3 <3 <3 The clothing folds are beautiful, for some reason I have a strong fondness for the right one's nose...The dark knight looks like he's going to kill soon....The brick work is beautiful!! And the city!! OMG!! OMG!!! I am swooning in amazement. You. Are. My. HERO!

G76I was worried there...but you revived yourself, so it turned out okay. ;)

I've been thinking about trying to make my faces look a bit more unique. Trying to make characters look different from the others standing around them...and I was thinking that while I was drawing the nose for the right guy. O_O That makes me feel like I done good.

Thanks very very much for all your compliments. <3

I LOVE IT. D: Seriously, the-the detailing with the bricks and graffiti and the way it just goes ON AND ON~ *________* It's freakin' mind-blowing, man. Seriously.
And your shading is amazing. Seriously, I have never seen such uniform shading done so well with pencil. D: I think it turned out awesome. Me, I've gotta let it gradually fade away. Make be use traditional art to blot in some big chunk ALL THE SAME COLOR/HUE/SHADE, and I just outright FAIL. D:
So, this is amazing. Absolutely amazing. ♥

G76You've got me. I can't type...D: I'm just swarming with the warm and fuzzies and I've lost my ability to form words. Or responses. D:

*takes some deep breaths*

The background was quite an effort. I really had to push myself and ignore that little voice in my head saying "Stop! Just do something in photoshop!" I did take it more seriously than any other background I've done in a long while...but I still didn't think I had the chops to get it done. But now...damn...I feel like drawing a landscape of Rome or something.
